your recipe costs can save you money and prevent costly mistakes in menu pricing! Our recipe costing software features include the ability to create single-level Bills of Material for costed recipe items (a Bill of Material identifies the quantities, descriptions and costs of each ingredient (component) item used to prepare a finished recipe item). For example: a recipe item called Bar-B-Q Chicken Sandwich may include component items such as 3oz of sliced Chicken, a French Roll, 1-oz Bar-B-Q Sauce, etc. All component costs are added together to calculate the total cost for the recipe item, Bar-B-Q Chicken Sandwich.  Our menu costing software provides accurate and up-to-date costs of your menu items and features the ability to create single-level Bills of Material for costed menu items. For example: a menu item called Bar-B-Q Chicken Sandwich may include component items such as the sandwich itself (based on the recipe item), condiments, napkin and take-out bag. All component costs are added together to calculate the total cost of the menu item called Bar-B-Q Chicken Sandwich. Ingredient costs for recipe and menu items are automatically rolled-up each night based on purchase receipts entered into inventory.

Credit card payment processing

Credit cards are processed using a separate third-party credit card terminal then are finished in RestaurantPlus, permitting you to keep your current merchant account, credit card service provider and lower processing fees. After the guest signs a credit card sales draft, the server (wait staff) completes the payment in RestaurantPlus by selecting "Payment" then selecting credit card type, enters total amount paid and the gratuity is automatically calculated & stored for reporting. Fast & easy!
