Let RestaurantPlus pre-load the software, apply the latest updates, install touch screen and Epson printer drivers for receipt & kitchen (Ethernet connected) printers, apply network settings, etc. and "test" everything before shipping your computer system).

What we do on each computer:

Install Windows operating system (Windows WePOS, etc.)
Install hardware drivers for RestaurantPlus products
Set Windows screen Properties to RestaurantPlus recommended Defaults
Set Windows Explorer Tools > Folder Options to RestaurantPlus recommended Defaults
Install Microsoft Access Runtime software on file server (if a file server purchased)
Install RestaurantPlus software on each computer purchased
Upgrade to newest RestaurantPlus software versions
Create RECEIPT printer drivers on each computer purchased
Install Epson UB-E02 (TMNetWinConfig) software on each computer purchased
Install PREP-1 Ethernet kitchen printer driver (1 to 6 remote printers) on each computer purchased
Perform initial network setup task (using WORKGROUP or DOMAIN based on your file server type)
Make RPlus folder a Shared folder, with security rights for EVERYONE=FULL (RestaurantPlus Default)
If ordered, we will "pre-load your menu items" on your initial "Data" file
Test all hardware & software before shipping

What you do:

We recommend you hire a local computer professional to hook up and complete the installation & local setup tasks.
Have the computer person refer to RestaurantPlus Computer Configuration Checklist, README document and our Setup Manual on CD (shipped with your products).

Installation & setup of local network, point of sale hardware and software systems, including network printer setup, must be performed by a trained computer professional. Work with a local point of sale systems installer and our Setup Manual.
