Software Programmer

This job is located at our software development group near Ontario, CA.

The main tasks of this position include but are not limited to the following: writing new programs and maintaining existing software applications in Visual Basic. You must be able to work from detailed programming specifications furnished by a Business Systems Analyst, create programs that meet specifications, then perform unit testing and full system testing in conjunction with the Business Systems Analyst and/or end-user. Must be able to work within a structured environment and adhere to standard procedures and strict methodologies in order to help us create a high degree of product excellence. Prefer College degree and minimum 2 years experience with 1 or more of the following: Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.Net, C-Sharp, Visual Studio, HTML, Crystal Reports. Experience with InstallShield and a brand-name software system is a definite plus. May require occasional travel to customer sites in order to assist with setup and implementation, custom programming, etc. Will require helpdesk support
