Major software upgrades may require that you send us your Data file for design updates, etc. If you are uncertain what to do, please send email to our Support Dept (see Contact info) and "attach" your main Data.mdb file.

Save to a location like (C:)\My Documents\Downloads (write it down)

Install the POS software update to your network file server

After the download completes, double-click the downloaded file
The software will automatically "self-extract" to folder called (C:)\Program Files\RPlus

How to install a software update to another networked PC

Copy software from your File Server to a Local PC
- Open Windows Explorer
- Double-click Network Neighborhood then locate the PC containing your shared Data.mdb file (network PC called Office, etc.)
- Highlight folder called RestaurantPlus then Highlight POS.exe
- Click Copy (from Toolbar)
- Highlight (C:)\Program Files\RPlus on local PC
- Click Paste (from toolbar)
- You have now copied software upgrades from RestaurantPlus on 'Office' (R:) to (C):\Program Files\RPlus on the Local PC
- Close Windows Explorer
RE-LINK to new Data.mdb
- Start RestaurantPlus > POS
- From POS Login screen > click Setup
- From System Setup screen > click Re-Link to Data.mdb
- Use Browse button to locate RestaurantPlus folder on 'Office' (R:)\RPlus > click Open
- Click Refresh Links then wait several seconds until it says "Linking to new backend data file was successful"
- Click Exit
Local PC Setup
- Make changes applicable for local PC then Save Settings
You are done on this PC
- If POS is installed on another PC, perform the same steps as above
